Turin Day 3 - We had a horrible start

Little did we know that our Wednesday would get off to such a horrible start as we got on the tram just after our breakfast. Just seconds after getting on the tram we realised that we didn’t have valid tickets for our travel as we had had for the previous two days.

Before we could even doing anything about it two tickets inspector boarded the tram. That was that! We were set to have a horrible day! When time came for them to see our tickets Jowita began to speak to them in English. I knew she was pretending that she couldn’t speak Italian. The inspectors tried to explain to us that we would now have to pay a fine of 25 Euros. The whole situation ended up getting pretty heated when Jowita forgot for a second that she was meant to be only English speaking and ended up moaning at one of them in Italian. That was the end of it…he was truly unhappy with her behaviour and so in the end we both paid a fine of 25 Euros each. Besides all that it was incredibly embarrassing as we kept up everyone on their way to work.

So with a horrible start to the day we headed out into the bitterly cold weather to our first appointment. I was in such a bad mood for quite some time after that so needless to say Jowita and I were not on the best terms.

We visited Hotel Lo Scudiero, Hotel Due Mondi, Hotel Montevecchio, B+B Augusta Taurisnorum di Gentile Laura and B+B Zoe. All properties were again very centrally located or if not then just a short tram ride away and all were of an excellent quality.

By this stage having been in the cold for two days Jowita was beginning to feel a bit under the weather so we made sure we got back to our hotel as soon as was possible. We bought some supplies from the local store and made our way back.

A few glasses of wine later and some food we were both shattered and feel asleep quite early.
